The Joys of Teaching Part 3

The students had all been photographed and the teacher was trying to get each of them to purchase a group picture.

"Just think," she said, "in fifty years you can look at this picture and say 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer' or 'There's Tommy, he's a doctor' or 'There's Mary, she's the mayor'."

A voice from the back of the room said, "Or there's teacher, she's dead."

Sad to say, but that IS about right. Am sure most of my teachers are dead.......I had some good ones, & a few that were idiots.....a few of the males had some REALLY nice crotches..... Too bad I wasn't a bit braver, would have tried to get something going. Mr. Skinner, Mr. Fleck & Mr. Lewis made me sit through the class with a raging woodie each class. All 3 would have been fun (whatever happened)....

Interestingly enough, I am getting together this summer for a 50 yr reunion of our graduating class. I am helping to organize it. I think it will be fun. 3 of the class have died, and we can't locate any of the teachers.
