 What goes UP must come DOWN sooner or later... with all that spce junk we have tossed up there. Someday we will regret it.

 If it was that visible, someone else must have seen it. There should be a knowledgeable professional around who could answer your question. I would start by calling the local weather office. If they don't know, they could steer you n the right direction, I' sure.
