Brilliant Plan  JD came up with a brilliant plan! We needed another midsized lawnmower. Rather than buy John Deere he'd try different "BRAND-X" type and save some money. The salesman dropped it off for us to try. JD hopped on and started mowing. About 15-20 minutes later he came into the house cussing...........  He hit a wet spot in the grass... the lawnmower lost traction and he plunged down the ravine and into the creek TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL.  He called the salesman to come get the new mower We weren't interested in buying that brand. |

A John Deere mower would have been stuck BEFORE it got to the wet spot on the grass, providing you could get it started. No respect here for John Deere products. They are always the ones getting towed to the service shop, or out of a tiny little mud puddle caused by a cow peeing. I do however like the idea of drinks on the beach, but find another way of getting there than collecting life insurance.

I am curious about "Hechto en Mexico took over" . I could not find any reference in Wikipedia to Mexico; no manufacturing just some sales offices. Manufacturing all over the world, US, Germany, India, etc. Can you give me more details? Thanks
